Sitter Services 

  • Sandhills Nanny Co. is pleased to facilitate access to our platform for referring Sandhills Sitters.

  • All parties are contractually bound by these terms established between you and Sandhills Nanny Co.

  • Each sitter-client relationship is unique, with sitters operating independently of Sandhills Nanny Co., thus not serving as representatives or employees of our company.

  • All bookings must be processed exclusively through our app to ensure adherence to our policies and regulations. Please note that while we strive to accommodate all booking requests, availability of requested sitters cannot be guaranteed for every booking.

  • Communication with nannies must occur through our built-in message platform within the app; it is prohibited to engage in text communication outside of our platform. Engaging a sitter without prior authorization from Sandhills Nanny Co. is considered improper conduct. This protocol allows us to maintain accurate records of available sitters for other clients' needs and to ensure proper fee remittance. 

  • It is strictly prohibited to refer our nannies to individuals or entities outside of our agency

Service Provided:

As availability permits, Sandhills Nanny Co. is committed to providing clients with our occasional babysitting REFERRALS at their request. We cannot guarantee that an occasional sitter will be available for each scheduled date requested by the client.

Fees: 

  • Membership Fees: Clients who are members will incur a monthly membership fee, depending on selected package, when requesting babysitters.

  • Sitter Rates: Sitters will receive their respective hourly rates directly from the client at the conclusion of each booking.

  • Non-Member Booking Fee: NON-MEMBERS WILL BE CHARGED A $25 FEE PER BOOKING WHEN A CAREGIVER IS ASSIGNED.

Membership Program: 

  • Flex Care Package - $45/Month (Non-Refundable, Two Bookings Per Month)

  • Family Support Plan - $85/Month (Non-Refundable, Up to Four Bookings Per Month)

  • Monthly Care Assurance - $180/Month (Non-refundable, Unlimited Bookings)

  • Six-Month Care Commitment - $1000/Every Six Months (Non-refundable, Unlimited Bookings)

  • Annual Care Coverage - $1800/Year (Non-refundable, Unlimited Bookings)

    Members enjoy the convenience of making unlimited bookings and receive priority access. Please note that while we prioritize all requests, fulfillment is subject to availability.

Membership Cancellation: Kindly provide written notice at least 30 days in advance should you decide to cancel your membership. We reserve the right to cancel a membership at any time without cause or reason.

  • Hourly Rate: Clients will be charged $15.00 per hour for childcare services provided by a Sandhills Sitter.

  • Additional Children: Families with multiple children will incur an extra fee of $2.00 per hour per child. For larger families (5+ children), two Sandhills Sitters will be required.

  • Minimum Booking: Appointments require a three-hour minimum; clients are obligated to pay for the minimum hours even if the actual total service time is less.

  • Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in a $10 fee payable to the agency, plus an additional $5 per hour scheduled to the Sandhills Sitter.

  • Blackout Dates: Service is not guaranteed on specific holidays and surrounding weekends. For services provided during blackout dates, there's an additional charge of $6 per hour to the Sandhills Sitter, plus $5 per booking payable to the agency.

  • Last Minute Care: Requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur an additional backup care fee of $25, with $10 payable to the agency and $15 to the Sandhills Sitter.

  • Sick Care: A $25 fee will be charged for any sick child bookings, with $10 payable to the agency and $15 to the Sandhills Sitter.

  • Transportation Reimbursement: Reimbursement fees based on the IRS rate per mile may be imposed for special transportation needs.

  • Overnight Care Rates: These rates are the same as our normal hourly charges.

  • Out Town Guests: Non-members from outside our coverage area can utilize our services via our app.

  • Inclement Weather: Service cannot be guaranteed in bad weather conditions; clients may need to provide transportation if sitters are uncomfortable driving.

  • Late Arrival: A $10 late arrival fee applies to bookings delayed more than 15 minutes, payable to the sandhills sitter.

  • Families: When multiple families are booked under one request, a $25 booking fee will be added, payable to the agency.

  • Event and Wedding Care: Expert sitters are available for various occasions starting at an hourly rate of $20 to the Sandhills Sitter plus an agency fee of $200 per booked nanny.

  • Corporate and Church Care: Expert sitters are available for various occasions starting at an hourly rate of $20 to the Sandhills Sitter plus an agency fee of $25 per month, billed annually.

Pet Sitting Services:

  • Standard Pet Sitting: The Client pays $40.00 per day for pet sitting services provided by a Sandhills Sitter, which includes up to two visits to the home. A booking fee of $25.00 is applicable per day, of which goes to the agency, unless you're a member.

  • Additional Trips: Each extra trip to the home incurs a charge of $10.00 per day for pet sitting services provided by a Sandhills Sitter, all to the Sandhills Sitter.

  • Overnight Care: The Client pays $70.00 per day for overnight pet sitting services provided by a Sandhills Sitter. A one-time booking fee of $25.00 applies, of which goes to the agency, unless you're a member.

  • Blackout Dates: Pet sitting service isn't guaranteed on specific holidays and surrounding weekends. The daily rate for pet sitting services on blackout dates is an extra $50.00 per day, directly to the Sandhills Sitter.

  • Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking within 24 hours, a $25 fee will be applied, of which $15.00 goes to the agency, and $10.00 to the Sandhills Sitter. Additionally, bookings made within 24 hours of the desired service will incur a Last Minute Booking Fee of $25, of which $15.00 goes to the agency, and $10.00 to the Sandhills Sitter.

At SNC, we aim to facilitate a smooth replacement process if your assigned caregiver is unable to meet your needs. However, please understand that while we will make every effort to find a suitable replacement promptly, we cannot guarantee immediate availability.

Upon the completion of the booking, THE CLIENT SHOULD UTILIZE OUR DASHBOARD TO PAY THE CANDIDATE. Failure to adhere to this will result in a $25 Late Payment Fee imposed by the agency and subsequent dismissal from our booking program.

Furthermore, we offer Meet and Greet services upon request, allowing a Sandhills Sitter to visit your home before any scheduled babysitting event. It's important to note that minimum hours do not apply for these meetings, and clients will be charged for the time spent during the visit.


Placement Services 

Registration Fee For Placements:

Initial Deposit: Before we start finding the right nanny for you, we require a non-refundable registration fee of $300. This fee helps cover our costs. You need to pay this fee upfront when you sign the agreement with us. 

Temporary or Part-time Placements: If you're looking for a temporary or part-time nanny, we'll charge you a $300 deposit to start. Once we've successfully placed a nanny with you, you'll need to pay the full placement fee: $3000 for temporary placement and $4000 for part-time placement. You must pay this fee in full or use one of our partnered financing companies. We provide a 30-day guarantee for these placements. If you cancel the contract within the first thirty days, there will be additional fees for future placements.

Full-time Placements: For full-time placements (over 35 hours a week), we also require a $300 deposit. This deposit will be applied to the final placement fee. Once you sign your contract with your chosen nanny You'll pay $5500 directly to us. There's a 60-day guarantee for these placements. If the contract is terminated after this period, you'll owe the placement fee for future placements. To tailor your placement package to your preferences, we provide additional options that can be included. These selections are listed below and can be added within five (5) business days after the position commences:

  • 90-Day Replacement Period - $400  

  • 180-Day Replacement Period - $800 

  • Reduced Rate for Annual Back-up Membership - $300

Replacement Policy: 

If the initial Candidate leaves the Client's employment within the replacement policy time limits specified in the Client's package or any additional replacement periods purchased, SNC will make reasonable efforts, in accordance with applicable law, for 30 days to provide additional referrals for a maximum of one replacement Candidate to the Client. The client has 30 days from the date of the Candidate’s last day of employment or other engagement with the Client to invoke this Replacement Policy.  SNC's obligation to provide additional referrals is expressly conditioned on Client’s: - Satisfaction of all obligations under this Agreement, including timely payment of all fees and charges. - Notification to SNC within 48 hours of the Candidate’s termination of employment. - Compliance with all applicable laws, including paying the Candidate in full as required by law. - Not materially changing the Candidate’s job duties or description. - Providing SNC with a fully executed copy of the Client’s work agreement with the Candidate by the Candidate’s first day of employment. - Not engaging in any acts of harassment, abuse, or moral turpitude in the employment relationship.  Compliance with these conditions is at the sole discretion of SNC. If the Client fails to satisfy all conditions, SNC has no further obligations to the Client. SNC's obligation to provide additional referrals does not apply if the Candidate gives notice of termination at the end of the specified time period.  Non-Responsiveness Clause for Placements: In the event the Client does not respond to the Agency after 3 written attempts and is not placed by the Agency within 30 days of signing this Agreement, the Agency will charge the Client a non-refundable deposit of $700.00 to continue receiving services. This deposit will be applied to the final balance upon hiring a caregiver. However, if the Client modifies the job description provided in their application, leading to a new search, the Deposit will not be applied and remains non-refundable.

Payment Schedule: After you select a nanny, you need to pay the remaining balance of the placement fee when you sign the contract. Once the contract between you and the nanny is signed, you'll be automatically invoiced.

Other Terms and Safety:


Contact Method: The Client agrees to contact an occasional babysitter through the Agency app ony. They should not employ an occasional babysitter without permission from the Agency.

Hiring Criteria: The Client is responsible for determining if a babysitter meets their hiring criteria independent of SNC's referral. They should not refer our caregivers to any third parties.

Cancellation: The Client agrees to pay the agency in the event of a cancellation after SNC has provided them with a reliable professional.


Safety Rules: The Client is responsible for establishing safety rules and hazards within their homes. Emergency phone numbers should be provided to occasional babysitters before leaving.

Comfort Level: Clients should never feel obligated to leave home if they do not have total comfort with their chosen babysitter.

Family Background Screens: As part of our comprehensive screening process, we utilize cutting-edge tools such as Instant Checkmate to conduct thorough background checks on all our clients. This ensures a safe and secure experience for both our caregivers and families. If your background check results do not meet our approval criteria, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to proceed with your application.


Liability and Agreement Terms:


Liability Waiver: SNC shall not be held liable for any harm that may occur to the child under the care of a caregiver. This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements or arrangements.

Modifications: Any modifications to the Agreement must be in writing and signed off by both parties before they are enforced. Sandhills Nanny Co. reserves the right to modify these terms by posting them on its website; continued use of our services will constitute your consent to those terms.


Fees and Policies: SNC may revise the Fees and Policies Schedule from time to time. All services provided by SNC are presented "as is" and "with all faults", and any implied warranties or conditions are expressly excluded.


Limitation of Liability: Sandhills Nanny Co. shall not be liable for consequential, incidental, special, indirect, or exemplary damages whatsoever arising out of or in any way relating to any agreement or user's use of or inability to use the products, services, and information provided. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding any failure of the essential purpose of any limited remedy.

You agree to hold Graham & Keane, LLC DBA The Garden harmless for any harm that our child may experience while under the care of Sandhills Rent-A Nanny. We are aware that The Garden & Sandhills Rent A Nanny is not affiliated in any way outside of the discounted rate offered for enrolled students.  We hold Graham & Keane, LLC DBA The Garden harmless for any harm that may befall the child receiving care when Sandhills Rent A Nanny provides any services for our family.  BY SIGNING BELOW, I AGREE AND UNDERSTAND THAT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GRAHAM & KEANE, LLC DBA The Garden OR ITS OFFICERS OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATING TO ANY AGREEMENT OR USER'S USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND INFORMATION PROVIDED BY SANDHILLS RENT A NANNY, OR THE PROVISION OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF CONFIDENTIAL OR OTHER INFORMATION, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF PRIVACY, FAILURE TO MEET ANY DUTY (INCLUDING OF GOOD FAITH OR REASONABLE CARE), NEGLIGENCE, COSTS OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, OR ANY OTHER CLAIM FOR PECUNIARY OR OTHER LOSS WHATSOEVER, OR FOR ANY CLAIM OR DEMAND AGAINST USER BY ANY OTHER PARTY, EVEN IF Graham & Keane LLC DBA The Garden HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING ANY FAILURE OF THE ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY.
